Down By The River

There's this really quaint little town I like to go to, it's so quiet and so beautiful. There's a small stream that runs through the village and these pictures were taken right by the river.
It's a really old medieval town on a hill surrounded by fields - it has yet to loose it's charm. Today was a casual day and I thought why not make the most of the trip out & take some pictures.  

My outfit is pretty simple,  I'm wearing some casual ripped skinny jeans from ASOS paired with a small printed crop top from Urban Outfitters. My shoes are my favorite pair (and only pair) of leather brogues by Clarks. They are incredibly comfy and I think it's fair to say they've lasted me a pretty long time !
I don't want to make this all about my outfit so I added a few pictures of the area. I hope you enjoy them :) x

HP Studio Tour

A little while back, I had the chance to attend the Harry Potter Studio Tour near London. I can't even begin to explain how extraordinary and purely magical it was.
You are given privileged access to all the sets & props used in the movies. You are free to roam around the vast area and your eyes are constantly looking at something, whether it be a huge set or a tiny - yet very special prop.
This place is a dream come true for all Potterheads. Whether you prefer the films or the books doesn't matter here, your imagination runs wild regardless. For me the best part of the whole experience is that you can take as many pictures as you like. They even encourage you to do so ! As you can probably imagine, I took an excessive amount of photos.. so I've picked my favorite ones and i'll be sharing them with you :)

I've also decided to limit the amount I show you because I really don't want to spoil your trip and give anything away. Enjoy the magic ! x

Friendship.

If there's one thing i'm truly grateful for, it's having the friends I have. Here's another feeling filled post just for you readers ! I can't think of many ways to write this post and there are so many things I could say, but this is what I came up with. *queue soppy music* Granted, some friends stick around and others may be out of sight but that doesn't change anything. Just because we don't see or talk to each other as much it doesn't change the beautiful memories and the amazingly fun moments we all shared together.

We are so lucky to have photography and to have practically given to us. Photos capture these special moments and even though they can't replay them, no matter how much you which you could relive them, they remain memorable instants captured with a simple click of the camera. I'd like to share with you some of the special moments we shared as our dysfunctional - yet truly awesome "group" of friends. Enjoy x

Christmas & New camera.

So Christmas is already over ! All I can say is roll on next year. I had such an amazing time with my family & it is always nice for us to all be together celebrating one of the best holidays of the year.
I'm so grateful to have such a wonderful family and I love buying individual gifts for everyone !
Of course, I love receiving gifts too, but there's nothing like seeing someone's face light up as they unwrap the present you picked out for them.
This year, I think it's fair to say I was spoilt. Because my birthday is a week before Christmas and this year I was 18 years old (adulthood hello !) , my parents wanted to make it special.
One of the presents I received is the Canon EOS 700D camera. I've only had it a day and I already love it ! I've been taking pictures non stop to test out the quality and experiment a bit.
I'm really hoping the possession of this new camera will mean more and better quality blog posts here. (Hurray !)

So today I think it'd only be fair to share some pictures from Christmas I took with the new camera.
